I found this game on Steam Greenlight, if not for it, I would have never found this game.

Steam Community Activity. Had a pretty little cover picture that snagged my attention while waiting to be Greenlit.

Led me to Kickstarter and sort of fell in love.

Hey guys, thanks for posting your this. Very helpful!

We did run FB ADs for a few days, wanted to try them out and also decide which of the used pictures was most sexy. It was the green one with a spacecraft and went straight on Kickstarter.

I got it from the No Man's Sky forums at Steam. There was a topic about similar games, there it popped up. Checked it out and thought, cool game and forgot all about it. A few weeks ago it popped back into my mind and I asked in that same forum what the game was and someone pointed me to kickstarter..... just in time to back the game.

No Man's Sky has been on my radar for a long time and I'm very excited about it..... until I realized what Planet Nomads will have to offer in time to come. Now I'm way more excited about Planet Nomads, but I sure will get both gamss. They both look like games I've been wishing to play for a long time, but no one has made so far.

    Hi all!
    For me it was twitter.
I got a new follower on @traincarts called @NakedGameDev as i noticed NakedGamdev posted interesting stuff i started to follow them as well. I then saw a article mentioned by @NakedGameDev called Blog: The truth about mobile game marketing (Written by Martin Chamrad as it turned out) https://shar.es/14oAQ6 that provided an other link to http://gamasutra.com/blogs/MartinChamrad

Besides being an interesting article (all do for me as starting indie dev a bit depressing) i also saw there Planet nomads for the first time and signed in as kickstarter backer for planet-nomads (also first time for me to be a kickstarter backer)

I hope my mobile game @traincarts will be finished before planet-nomads comes out, as i am not allowed (by self) to play any (time consuming) games until then. (so for example fallout 4 is also on my to-play list)

on Twitter also. a lot of the star citizen folks that I follow were tweeting that they were backing this game, so I checked out the project on ks. I liked the concept of the game, so I pledged, and here I am.

I first found out about PN from a youtuber called LastStandGamers. Was watching the Space Engineers survival series and spotted PN trailer in the related videos.

After watching the trailer, i instantly backed the project

It was posted on Reddit in the Space Engineers forum. I looked into it and decided $40 was worth it to be involved on some level with the game. It looks like everything I wanted to develop in the game I was working on. As a long-time veteran of Space Engineers and Minecraft, as well as some games I consider "Not where I would have gone with it" like Empyrion and Starmade... I hope my opinions can be of some use. I'll warn you I am pretty harsh and if I think you're doing something dumb I will say something about it. ;)

Some roads you shouldn't go down, because maps used to say, ¨There be dragons here.¨ Now they don't. But that don't mean the dragons aren't there.
