    The game Firefall has Crystite.
    Dunno if it's copyrighted though.

    I was going to say something like Xenocerite, not because "the X makes it sound edgy", but because the "Xe" icon makes it more flashy as to the fact that you are mining the rarest building material that the game has to offer. While xeno- implies origin, ce-rite describe complex structure, perhaps even artificial engineering. But, it seems like this is over by now. I'm excited to see what it will be, and what it will be used for.

    Indeed! With the few votes we voted internally (13 people).

    Lots of great suggestions, many favorites, but also lot of "legally grey" and possibly trademarked names, so in the end we've got to love Taenite.

    The only thing being that Iron + Nickel doesn't make for the rarest material, so to avoid smart guys commenting on that in the future of Planet Nomads, we've changed the T to X. Now Xaenite makes it a truly alien, previously unknown super material.

    Congratulations to jdemacek.

    And the second "jokester" Alpha Steam key goes to talitore for Orgasmium!
