    Question LINUX Editor Object Presets completely broken?

    Hi!

    Running Ubuntu 16.04 on a FX-6300, 16gb ram and a GeForce GTX 650.

    The preset objects (the Buggy, Berserker, Tank, Outpost) load in exploded and all blocks seem to be moved apart from each other by one block. Is this an error or normal behaviour?

    Thanks for any reply!

    Um, sounds like a bug.

    Also, i don't think there's going to be any work done on the editor, as in a couple of weeks, there will be a game instead.
    Then you can build and test there.

    I have the same issue, it seems it is a bug in the linux build. As Azirahael said, the editor won't be updated anymore as it is only a proof of concept and the alpha version of the game will be released very soon.

    While the editor won't load the pre-built stuff, I haven't experienced any issues with my own builds. Save and reload works just fine.

    Thanks guys. It is a bug, but as stated we are really putting all the work into the actual game now, so the Editor won't be updated.

    Hopefully your own builds will be fine just like fura's.

    As a workaround you can start the editor like this:
    LC_ALL=en_US ./PN_editor_v1.0.10.x86_64

    The effect is caused by different usage of dot and comma for numbers. The English number 1,234.5 is written 1.234,5 in some languages, for example German.

    I think this is the most common bug in Linux ports of games. With Worms WMD being the latest to fall for it. Luckily there's always someone that figures it out quickly.

    At least the most common we can fix on the user side.

    The only other bug of this kind I can think of is failure to realize filenames are case sensitive.
