    Need help with bridge problem

    Hello Nomads!

    I need a little help. So I built a bridge from my base to one of my mining base. Its works pretty well in general but I have to use ramps at some parts of it because of the height differences. I would like to frame the whole thing with railing parts (in order to prevent falling down from it) which doesn't connect to the ramp parts nohow. Is there any ways to rotate the railings somehow in the angle of the ramps? Or any other ideas how to "frame" it or build a fance to them?

    Thank you very much, have a nice day.

    Hey,

    Are you able to provide a screenshot so we can see what you mean?

    You can press F11 to remove the UI if you want a clean screenshot.

    Just a thought with this - can you use the small ramp block and attach it vertically to be a wall?

    We do need a railing peice in the game for slopes, I'm sure Craneballs will add one eventually, we got a corner railing on this update which is awesome!

    here is a option that will allow you to build slanted rails, wall, and cover;

    You can put blocks on the side of the ramp and than place the railing on those blocks but will not be at the ramp angle.

    The other way is to redesign your bridge without using ramps. Be careful when you drop your bridge it might end up in space.

    Here are some screenshots. I tried to put the ramp parts vertically as you say it and its worked. Not very decorative but works.

    I will try the other suggestions too, if I had time, they seems very useful.
    Thank you guys all of you for the quick help and sorry for my english.

    I'd go with Casual Viking's approach ..... Build hte bridge on a rotor pivot...then unlock it and let it flop down to make the slope. The railings will go right on and be in line with the slope
