    Weird circle in the sky?

Not sure if it is a bug or something I am just not recognizing.

Every once in a while a grey-ish circle appears in the air - usually off to the edge and it disappears if I turn towards it - but sometimes it stays in place. It is flat and definitely not a 'moon' or something like that. It also vanishes if I walk away from an area for a bit and then come back. Seems totally random so far.

    Anyone else seen it?

It might be Menzagitat's 110 meter ring!

    Very impressive.

I've not seen this during the day, but have had something similar at night. Every so often, on a totally irregular basis, I can look up at the moon at night and if I rotate slightly, something in the sky blocks the moon, sort of like a lunar eclipse.

No idea what or why, I assume it's a graphics glitch.

Not seen a grey version but often see a black circle that grows if I look towards it and disappears if I move away. The black one is well known and discussed on the steam forum.

A render-distance related issue, I figure. If you're close enough to sea level, you're far enough away for a part of the sky to not render and look like that circle.
Why hug a tree when you can hug a zombie?

I see it often, I figured it has something to do with my ultrawide monitor which tends to bring out lots of weird edge case visual bugs in games.
