Now that the version was incremented once more, I wonder if you guys will be able to implement everything you promised.
Will you leave early access with 1.x?

After 0.9.x ...... there will maybe come 0.9.9.xx
Yes, we keep version 1 to first non-early access release. But there will definitely be some 0.10 and other zero versions before, as we still have a lot of things to do.
If you want to better understand our version numbering, think of it as a.b.c.d, where
- d is incremented for bugfixes, ie. releases that does not bring any new features and from players' point of view they should be indistinguishable (except for fixed bugs)
- c is incremented for small regular updates, things that adds something but does not change key principles of the game and should not break saves or something
- b is incremented for big updates that contains many changes, alters some key principles of the game or comes with the risk of breaking saves. But we try not to do save-breakers
There might be some exceptions from this rules, but we try to keep them up.
They could leave early access at 14.67.01, or any place that fits.
I would assume when it PN leaves it will be based on what features are in and are stable.
For example I think PN could go after planetary-teleportation is in, and before space ships are in.
But that is a judgement call they will need to make.
Thanks to clarify!
It is good to know for sure that after 0.9.x comes 0.10.x and not 1.0
I had the same question some years ago about Minecraft
Also we can answer to other people what will happen if they ask...
Thank you for info about version number. At now, I much calm about PN improvements![]()
