0.8.12,0 Bug - Can't raise my octocopter above ground
Hi together - first thanks to the developers for this great and promising game. I've played some 50hrs now and had a blast so far exploring an building.
But since the patch today to 0.8.12.0, I have kind of a strange problem with my vehicles powered by small airblades (can't test a big airblade atm).
Since today, I can't raise the cockpit of my octocopter:

any more above it's ground level.
As soon as I touched the ground and landed, I was unable to lift my cockpit up into the air again. The back of my vehicle tries to raise and I can "fly" on this ground level but my cockpit won't let go of the ground. This was working perfectly up until the newest patch.

I can confirm.
A vehicle with only one layer of small blades I can hover up but not to the same level as before. The maximum altitude is lower now. This vehicle was tilted forward (not well balanced)
A vehicle with two layers of small blades (balanced properly), I can lower but not lift. However an interesting behavior is that when I lower the vehicle it bounces, oscillates vertically. During this time I can press the hover up key ("space") and the vehicle will rise a little bit before stopping. Repeating this process will make the vehicle go up a tiny bit each time.
This other bug is also still open.

A funny detail to add from my side... The copter is parked on the second floor of my building. If I remove the fences, so that I can hover off the base, I stay at that height. I can even lower the copter and get up to exactly the same as before. But as soon as I land somewhere lower than the second floor, I can't raise up to this height any more and seem to be glued to the new "ground" level.

And one more, I build a small quad copter version of my octocopter, this one raises all right, but I have to confirm Menzagitat's lower max altitude and a somewhat reduced climbing speed, the last few meters up are really slow - with such a low max altitude, I won't be able to reach my arctic base with my mule anymore
Then I just build a 1:1 copy of my octocopter and, tadaaa, same behaviour as the other one, no raising at all. Seems as if this vehicle is now to heavy to lift at all? Are about 5,6k too much for 8 small airblades now?
Such new weight problems would make starting the big helicarrier I'm building in my backyard a tremendous failure....

It seems as you can consider this thread closed on my system. Since the hotfix, my trusty mule rises again and I'm free to roam this strange planet I'm on - so back to building my helicarrier and a big thumbs up for the developers and their extremely quick fixing of game breaking stuff (like the save bug).
