    If the lower hinge is removed, the upper one can hold a big weight:

    Notes:
    - the lower hinge will act upon the upper hinge stronger. I replaced the lower hinge with a block and the behavior was different: less force was applied to the upper hinge
    - sometime, disconnecting the big weight (by removing a block close to the hinge) makes the system to unfreeze on both ends of the fulcrum

    This has probably something to do with center of mass calculation which is already on our buglist. Thank you for reporting this.
